About
Laura Linn (b. Porto Alegre, Brazil) is a photographer, actress, and screenwriter. She's had a camera in her hand since she was little — long before she knew what to do with one, she was already trying to hold onto things before they disappeared.
She first studied filmmaking in Brazil before making the full transition to acting, moving to the United States to study at UCLA and complete the two-year conservatory program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

To me, family photography isn't about posed perfection — it's about being yourselves and connecting authentically in that moment. I'd rather you forget I'm there and that the camera exists — talking, laughing, actually being with each other — than watch you hold a smile. Those candid, unguarded shots are where the real magic is.

Pregnancy is one of the most transcendent moments of your life — that in-between space where you're still who you were, and already becoming who you'll be once your baby arrives. A season of tenderness, love, and so much feeling it barely fits inside you. A moment to hold still forever.
Street Photography
I don't ask the street to slow down. I just stay close enough to catch the split seconds no one's paying attention to.
